The versatility of natural hair is endless, but today, we wanted to show how the INATURAL line to do a protective curl defining style. In this style, we are doing a two strand twist with a BANTU knot out.
To start and prepare the hair, we washed and conditioned with the Cher-Mère Herbal Shampoo and Cher-Mère Deep conditioner. Then, the LOC (liquid, oil, curling butter) method was used. The hair was separated into sections, and the leave INATURAL leave in conditioning creme was applied as the liquid component. The INatural Conditioning Oil was put in to help seal the follicle and put moisture into the hair and was followed by sealing with the Moringa-Shea Butter Based INatural Curling Butter. Once completed, the hair was put into two strand twist. To get the curls, the twists were then put into sections and twisted with Bantu knots. When twisting, use your favourite some gel or setting lotion if you want them to have lasting power. The use of the LOC method prior will help to seal in the moisture.
Once dried, the INATURAL conditioning oil is applied to the fingers, to lubricate while undoing the knots. The result, defined curls.
You can chose whether to leave the curls as is or to further undo the two strand twist for more volume!
