We’re on the lookout for a skilled, artistic, and trend-savvy nail technician who loves creating stunning nail designs and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

We are looking for some who is personable
and does their best to ensure the experience of clients and staff are
amenable and enjoyable. Your core duties include the greeting of all
guests, having a favourable services with clients educating clients on
the history of Cher-Mere products and which of them would best suit
their particular needs.

Base Salary

The salary is a commission based salary with a split determined by experience, typically, 40/60. Your actual pay
will be based on your skills and experience. We
also offer health benefits, discounted spa services and products.

What We're Looking For:

• Creativity & Passion: A flair for fun, unique, and intricate nail designs, with a keen eye for staying on top of trends.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with gel systems and 3 years in a customer service role. Experience in retail sales is a plus, particularly in selling products or services.
• Professionalism: Someone who thrives in a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere and understands the importance of community, inclusivity for all individuals, including BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+, and beyond. We are a Rainbow Registered company and a member of the Kingston Workplace Charter.
• Flexibility: A team player who is comfortable taking on a variety of roles, including working the front desk, selling products, and engaging with clients to create an exceptional spa experience.
• Portfolio: A strong social media presence or portfolio showcasing your best work. Please include links when applying.
• Availability: Ability to work weekdays and weekends, with flexibility to adapt to scheduling needs.
• Communication: Demonstrated excellence in communication with a strong focus on customer service and team collaboration. Skilled in creating positive interactions with clients to ensure their needs are met with care and professionalism. Equally adept at working cohesively with team members to foster a safe, honest, and calm environment that promotes inclusivity and support for both clients and staff. to contribute to a harmonious workplace dynamic.

Bonus Asset: If you have additional Esthetician qualifications, such as experience in facials, waxing, brow shaping, or other spa services, it’s a significant asset. We value versatile professionals who can bring more to the client experience and grow with us!

Your Role:

As a Cher-Mère nail technician, you’ll:

• Create stunning and trendy nail designs tailored to client preferences.
• Stay informed on the latest nail techniques, tools, and trends.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every client feels valued and pampered.
• Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling, product sales, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Work collaboratively with our team in a professional and inclusive setting.
• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Retail products to enhance the client experience.
