As part of our initiative to give back to the Community, Cher-Mere Canada jumped on the chance to be a part of 1 in 100 Women Kingston. The premise behind this organization is that 100+ women get together and donate $100 every quarter to local charities. Cher-Mere Canada staff member's donated to a team and also nominated the local Charity, Youth Diversion. On Friday, Sept. 26, the group presented the proceeds from their inaugural meeting, a staggering $12,930, to Daren Dougall, executive director of the Youth Diversion Program, at the program's headquarters, located in the Boys and Girls Club building on Bagot Street.
